High Resilience Foam

Model:HS4520

Ming Ao Sponge is a leading China high resilience foam manufacturer. We supply high resilience foam around the world and our price is at least 20% lower than Alibaba. When it comes to the HR foam, we can proudly say that Ming Ao Sponge Manufacturing CO., LTD is the TOP 1 factory in Asia for the following reasons: First of all, our resilience coefficient is over 65 for 28 density HR foam. In fact, within this standard, you cannot find any other factories to manufacturer the same HR foam. Their resilience coefficient cannot be 65 unless they manufacturer the 40 density HR foam, which is quite high cost. Besides, it might be unbelievable for you that our R&D team is frequently invited to guide other factories in HR foam manufacture overseas with substantial reward. Moreover, We are also an export-oriented enterprise. We cover most of the Europe and America, and nowadays expand the market to the Middle East. Our factory has standard workshops, complete equipment, experienced workers and R&D team. With over 50 specifications of stylish designs, our products can be tailored for the needs of various customers. As a result, we might be your only reliable partner-ship in high resilience foam field.

Export Ming Ao high resilience foam

Ming Ao Sponge is China manufacturer and supplier who mainly produces high resilience foam with many years of experience. The HS4520 high resilience foam is our hot sale foam. First of all, it is 45 density and 20 hardness, which belongs to the high density foam. Secondly, resilience coefficient is over 70. You can imagine that when you loose a steel ball at 100 centimeters, the ball can rebound to 70 centimeters. Moreover, this hr foam passes the REACH test (published by European Chemicals Agency regarding Regulation No 1907/2006 concerning the REACH). Therefore, enters into partnerships with us is an advisable choice.

What is the difference between high resilience foam and pu foam?

High resilience foam (HR foam) is a type of polyurethane (PU) foam that has been specially formulated to provide superior quality, durability, and comfort than traditional PU foam products. Following are some difference:

Compression Resistance: HR foam has a higher compression resistance than PU foam, which you can tell from the  resilience coefficient. Remember this, the highest resilience coefficient for traditional pu foam is 50, on the other hand, the lowest resilience coefficient for HR foam is 60. Is it an amazing conclusion?

Durability: It is no doubt that HR foam is more durable than other types of PU foam. Actually, it is less likely to sag or lose its shape over time, making it a popular choice for high-end furniture and mattress. Technique speaking, service time for high quality HR foam could be as long as your whole life.

Comfort: HR foam provides better comfort and support than traditional PU foam products. It conforms to the body and distributes weight evenly, reducing pressure points and minimizing discomfort.

Density: HR foam is typically more dense than other types of PU foam. This gives it a firmer feel and makes it more supportive.

Price: HR foam is seemingly much more expensive than traditional PU foam. However, it provides longer-lasting comfort and has a longer lifespan, making it a worthwhile investment. You might replace your normal pu foam for your cushion many times in your whole life, however, the HR foam can serve you about a decade with on doubt. In this dimension, price of HR foam is lower than normal pu foam.

Overall, the key difference between high resilience foam and PU foam is their quality and durability. While both are made of polyurethane, HR foam is specially formulated to provide superior performance and comfort, making it a popular choice for many applications.

What is high resilience foam made of?

High resilience foam is a type of polyurethane foam that is made using a unique formulation of chemical additives, polyol, and isocyanates. Here's a detail of the components that go into high resilience foam:

Polyol: This is a type of polyester polyol or polyether polyol, which are the two main types of polyols used to make polyurethane foam. Polyols are hydroxyl-rich chemicals that react with isocyanates to form the polymer that makes up the foam. Probably you might get confused because both HR foam and PU foam are using the same word "polyester polyol or polyether polyol". In fact the polyester is totally different. Molecular weight of polyol for pu foam is around 2000, however the molecular weight of polyol for HR foam is more than 5000, sometimes even up to 10000 depending on the

customer's needs. I hope you understand it better now.

Isocyanates: These are a group of chemicals that react with polyols to produce polyurethane foam. The two main types of isocyanates used to make HR foam are TDI (toluene diisocyanate) and MDI (methylene diphenyl diisocyanate).

I can disclose a small secret to you, one of the reason our HR foam has higher resilience coefficient is that we use the best Bayer TDI other than domestic TDI.

Chemical additives: Various chemical additives are used during the manufacturing process to impart specific properties to the foam, such as durability, flame resistance, and texture. Additives can include Ammonia catalyst,T-9, surfactants, and so on.

The specific formulation of chemicals used in the production of HR foam varies depending on the manufacturer and the desired properties of the end product. However, the general process involves combining the chemicals in a precise ratio, mixing them together thoroughly, and then dispensing them into a mold. Heat is then applied to the mixture, causing it to expand and cure into a solid foam product with superior resilience and durability.
